Class Two began by looking at existing chocolate boxes, discussing the target audiences and the features of the box- this included the ingredients, the brand, nutritional information and pictures.

I then challenged the class to create a box using 6 bits of square paper, working as a team the children were able to create a box but all agreed that it was very tricky and that there must be an easier way.

We then looked at nets and we were able to identify the shape that would be created.   we then measured our chocolate moulds to work out how big our box needed to be.

From this we designed our boxes, creating a number of alternative options we were able to add different features. We were then able to select our individual designs and create a final design including labels.

Today we completed our boxes using cereal boxes and copying our final design across. Well done Class 2, there were some wonderful creations.
